Im 29 and a keen on teaching people veganism is easy and tasty life style. My wife and I are raising 2 children both vegan since birth. We have also started our own vegan catering company and have future plans to open our own eatery.

How long have you been vegan? 0?? years

I (Anne) am almost vegan ie cook entirely vegan but accasionally have some dairy if at other people's places or there is nothing else edible on offer. I have been vegetarian (mainly vegan) for about 53 years. Robert is vegetarian, avoids milk but not so careful about ingredients that could be egg or milk derived. We do not find it convenient to be in the city on Friday evenings often but like to catch up with vegan friends when we can be there. We are in touch with many vegans mainly through VegSA.(Vegetarian Society of South Australia.

I live in a intentional community in the Barossa
I eat a high carb low fat raw vegan diet, Frugivore with greens and some nuts. Excercise, Sunshine, Water, Nature, Smiles & Fruit make me happy.

My partner Sarah gave me the strength and her superb cooking skills to become vegetarian almost 10 years ago, and for that I will be forever grateful. I love being vegetarian, and cook almost exclusively vegan meals at home but I do find it difficult to avoid dairy when eating out with friends or family. My beautiful and loyal companion Sox and Mark Rowlands' "The Philosopher and the Wolf" have rekindled my interest in animal ethics and probably have inadvertently reinforced my tendencies towards misanthropy as well...

I have just become vegan after 2 years of teetering on the edge. It just felt right for me and what really changed my mind was reading a book many of may have read called "skinny bitch". This book talks about the practices of slaughterhouses and the treatment of animals in general. I found it interesting but disturbing and then looked on the PETA website, some of their videos are really upsetting and I found difficult to watch.

I dont live in Adelaide but in a largeish town in south australia near the border where I feel completely isolated in my thinking and people often make it their mission to convince me why I am wrong and to conform. No-one said swimming against the tide would be easy - when has it ever? The right decision is not always popular and the popular decision is not always right...thats for sure!

I like activism. I like people. I like all animals. I play music in a band which supports activism, people and animals. I love rock climbing and op shopping equally.
