How long have you been vegan? since Nov 09
I decided this needed an update, since it has been a year since I joined:) I have recently been to my first event & am looking very forward to attending many more.
I do not know many other vegetarians personally & no other vegans (aside from those I have just met) & so am looking forward to getting to know more people with similar views to my own. I spent my first 17 years in a farming community & so almost everyone I knew from my childhood/teenage years is anti-vegan. Since moving to Adelaide 7 years ago I have connected with many vegans/vegetarians online but have met few personally.
I'm currently a full-time stay at home mum & so have quite a bit of free time on my hands to do with as I please:) I usually spend my spare time cooking, reading & taking my son to beautiful places in nature.
I'm attempting to raise my son vegan & so am especially interested in connecting with other vegan parents.
