Hi everyone!
My name is Ash and from teh age of 8 I decided that I was vegetarian and was going to be a marine biologist. Well I recently graduated from Flinders Uni with a bachelor of science and am still vegetarian. Through self education via the net I am slowly taking more dairy out of my diet. Up until the past year I didn't realise how still eating dairy/eggs was contributing to animal cruelty just as much as people eating meat.
I am excited to have found this page during one of my 'educating nights' and hopefully link to more vegan people so I can continue to be educated.

I run workshops around town about compassion, meditation, and personal development. I help people feel great and perform better. One of the practices that transformed my life is to immerse my mind in compassion, 5 minutes to half an hour every day. I became vegan soon after starting this practice.
It would be beautiful to share this cultivation exercise with the whole world.

Hi, I'm Janelle. Im currently studying a BSC and am still technically 1st year even though I started my degree in 2005. I left for a while and studied as a veterinary nurse however wish to focus more on native animals and hence will hopefully graduate with a major in wildlife science.
I have been an on-and-off vegetarian for many years but a couple of months ago I decided to take the plunge and have not looked back. Out of the four people who share the house, three of us are vegans!
I decided to become a vegan because I love animals!
