Hi I'm Shell, also known as Kira Starseed and one half of Adelaide music duo The Wandering Minstrels. My partner James (aka Dylan James) and I are both committed vegans. I have been vegetarian on and off since 2002 and went Vegan in November 2008 and have not looked back. I am so grateful to have made the choice to live a compassionate life. I have also gone 100% raw for 46 days earlier in 2009 which was excellent. At the same time as I went vegan I also made the choice to give up smoking and alcohol and I am now the happiest and healthiest I have ever been. I love being vegan and healthy and knowing that I am choosing cruelty free! The Wandering Minstrels often play at Bliss Organic Cafe and would love to play at all vegan and veg events including weddings, parties and functions! I teach mental rehearsal. I help people feel great and perform better. One of the practices that transformed my life is to immerse my mind in compassion, for 5 minutes to half an hour a day. I became vegan soon after starting this practice.

Hi, I'm Janelle. Im currently studying a BSC and am still technically 1st year even though I started my degree in 2005. I left for a while and studied as a veterinary nurse however wish to focus more on native animals and hence will hopefully graduate with a major in wildlife science.
I have been an on-and-off vegetarian for many years but a couple of months ago I decided to take the plunge and have not looked back. Out of the four people who share the house, three of us are vegans!
I decided to become a vegan because I love animals!

I'm a self-employed web programmer (I built this site, so if you have any problems, let me know). I originally became vegan primarily for environmental reasons, but the animal rights issues and health benefits have long since been adopted into my thinking.

During the day I teach high school Chemistry to Japanese students in Kisarazu, Japan. When I'm not working I enjoy cooking vegan treats, travelling around Japan, blogging (wanderingvegans.wordpress.com) and hanging out with Benno.
I originally became vegan after experiencing animal dissections at Uni but environmental, animal rights, health and spiritual reasons now keep me vegan.
