Adelaide Vegans exists to bring vegans together for networking and social gatherings, and to support new vegans in their journey. We also welcome vegetarians in transition to becoming vegan. If instead, you're a looking for a less strict vegetarian group, we suggest getting in contact with VegSA. If you're unsure what this is all about or what the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan is, please read our short page on veganism.
To join us as a member, just fill out our membership form. Once approved by an administrator, you'll be able to register for our events and participate in our forum discussions.
We have dinner every Friday evening at various veg*n restaurants in the CBD, as well as monthly raw picnics when the weather's good. Event convenors are listed in brackets.
Bliss Organic Cafe (Helen)
Pure Vegetarian (Benno Lang)
Zenhouse Tea Corner (Ken Lawson)
Heaven Field (Don Clifton)
Vegetarian Garden (Daniel Searson)
Thea (new convenor required)
Raw Picnics (Morgaine Beckley)
Unless otherwise specified, the events are open to anyone who is a vegan or is working toward being vegan; and vegans may also invite their partners and friends. Note that some events may be listed as open to all, or strictly for vegans only, depending on the event organiser.
Booking is essential for the venues to reserve tables for us. You can book on the events page. If necessary, you can also cancel your booking if you find later that you can't make it.
